Sagarmatha or Mt. Everest (as close as you can come to by plane) The Buddhist temple of Swayambhunath, on the of the hill west of Kathmandu. Tej gave us all important explanation about the religion culture of Nepal. This is the huge stupa of Bodhanth, one of the largest stupa in the world. little monks in a Tibetan monasterie Nepal's most important Hindu temple: Pashupatinath. In the background you can see cremations. this is the wonderful view over the great Himalaya range from Nagarkot. Visiting Bhaktapur: Nyatapola Temple, the higest temple in the wole Katmandu Valley. Bhaktapur Durbar Square Durbar Square and the Royal Palace of Patan The Golden Temple Can You find Isabel in the crowd of Kathmandu? After sightseeing in Kathmandu we started our trekking tour in the Annapurna region. This is the holy mountain Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail ... and this not holy but exhausted Ralf. ... and Bella still smiling... ... till we arrived the first suspension bridge. beautiful waterfalls new friends in the mountains. first snow in the hight of 3.200 m. Ralf beside the modern heating system (it was damped cold in the evening). Sun rise: this is one of the best Himalayan viewpoints from Poon Hill up to the Annapurna region. ... but it was realy early and cold up there. on the way downhill one of the best transportation posiblilty in the mountains After this beautiful trek we spend one day in the Shangi -la Village in Pokhara White water rafting ... including breaks at the river banks But there was also time to relax on the boat. Royal Chitwan National Park We did not see royal Bengal tigers, but this guys are friendly as well. Brave Isabel in the jungle. One of the best things in life ... ... taking a bath with an elephant (including a refreshing shower). we came realy close to this rhinos. Fortunately we were sitting on the back of an elephant.
