Namaste Nepal! Hello Nepal!

We really had a great time in this amazing country. We want to say a big Thank You to Tej Bahadur Jarga and the whole Mountain River Rafting Team for the excellent organisation in Nepal. We came close to the mountain of the mountains ...

Sagarmatha or Mt. Everest (as close as you can come to by plane)

Tej gave us all important explanation about the religion culture of Nepal.

This is the huge stupa of Bodhanth, one of the largest stupa in the world.

this is the wonderful view over the great Himalaya range from Nagarkot.

Visiting Bhaktapur: Nyatapola Temple, the higest temple in the wole Katmandu Valley.

After sightseeing in Kathmandu we started our trekking tour in the Annapurna region. This is the holy mountain Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail

... and this not holy but exhausted Ralf.

... till we arrived the first suspension bridge.

Sun rise: this is one of the best Himalayan viewpoints from Poon Hill up to the Annapurna region.

... but it was realy early and cold up there.

After this beautiful trek we spend one day in the Shangi -la Village in Pokhara

But there was also time to relax on the boat.

We did not see royal Bengal tigers, but this guys are friendly as well.

... taking a bath with an elephant (including a refreshing shower).

we came realy close to this rhinos.

Fortunately we were sitting on the back of an elephant.
